Q: How many students are accepted each year?
A: We accept 15 students per year.
Q: How much does the program cost?
A: The Life and Work Skills Program is free, funded by a grant from the Lennar Foundation.
Q: What topics are covered?
A: Throughout the 6-month semester, we teach office services, computer training, interviewing, managing money, communications, photocopying and scanning, dressing for success and cooking.
Q: How old are students?
A: Most students are between the ages of 18 and 35, but there is no official age limit. We review each application individually.
Q: When are the classes:
A: Classes are from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM one Saturday a month.

A: Classes are held at our offices in the Greenspoint area of Houston.

A: The program began in 2005.
Q: Why does Lennar provide this program?
A: We do it because we care! By teaching valuable skills to the students, we are helping each individual to live a more independent life. Every person involved is a volunteer, donating their time one Saturday a month to make an impact in our community.

A: We have had over 240 students graduate since 2005!
